Risk-oriented approach to quality assurance of testing laboratory activities

Risk-based approach is a fundamental principle, replacing preventive and corrective actions in international and national standards in the field of quality management. These standards can be used in the activities of any type of organization of the national economy, including testing laboratories. The main process in any laboratory is the testing process, which ultimately determines the quality of products, customer satisfaction. The testing process is influenced by many factors, which are consecutively considered in the article, including the justification of the sampling process management on the basis of risk management system. The authors also consider the peculiarities of sampling based on statistical sampling methods, critical points and application of risk-oriented approach in the practice of the testing laboratory.
