Risk of social exclusion among the Russians with low socio-economic status

On the basis of the European Social Survey, Round 5 there was examined the connection between socio-economic status and social relations. Statistical analysis was performed by means of multidimensional models of logistic regression. It was found out that the socially and economically disadvantaged groups of population (the unemployed, people in hard economic situations, those with low educational levels) are more likely to be socially excluded (have no partner, nobody to talk with, seldom communicate with people beside work).
