The article deals with the problem of freedom and its relationship with the rhythm. Using such science methods as analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, analogy, etc., the author reveals the problems of the rhythm’s influence on the relations between freedom and necessity, their unity and temporary equivalence. The scientific novelty and the originality of the research reside not only in the underdeveloped issue of correlation between freedom and rhythm in the scientific literature, but, firstly, in the fact that the essence of unity and relationship between freedom and necessity is revealed because of the rhythm. Secondly, the rhythm is the measure of the time genesis and the basis for the manifestation of the unity of freedom and necessity. Thirdly, the rhythm performs the function of measure in demonstrating both freedom and necessity. Fourthly, knowledge of the rhythms and their observation is the methodological foundation of understanding the unity of freedom and necessity as the natural basis of human life. Fifthly, there is no pure freedom and necessity, but freedom linked with necessity and necessity linked with freedom.
