The subject of the present paper is investigation of antler objects from the collection of the open-air site Sungir (Upper Palaeolithic). The materials of the site have been studied for many years, yet the vast range of antler objects has never been considered in entirety. As a part of this work a general analysis of antler finds from Sungir was carried out, including technical and typological characteristics (two dropped antlers from burials not included), spatial and stratigraphic analysis. In general, it is possible to state that antlers were used during the time of human habitation on the archaeological site. Still, the whole cycle of working antlers (including their bringing to the site and cutting) was not performed directly in the investigated territory of the site.
