The role of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation during the COVID-19 pandemic

This article assesses the role of the Bank of Russia during the COVID-19 pandemic. The applied measures of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to support business and the public are given. The reasons for the change in the key rate during the pandemic are being studied. A new mechanism is being considered to support and stimulate lending to small and medium-sized businesses.
