The role of digital technologies in the developing the information space of regional tourism management

The article is focused on the regional information space of tourism. The article describes the state of modern information communications of tourism management at the level of subjects of the Russian Federation. They are formed as a result of a significant increase in various kinds (types and volume) of information, improvement of information technologies, as well as the need to increase the level of economic feasibility of management decisions. The purpose of the study is to identify promising areas of development of tourist information space based on digital technologies. The hypothesis of the study is the assumption that digital technologies of information space have quantitative and qualitative changes in the indicators of regional tourism. The probable approaches to how to develop information exchange between subjects and objects of tourism management at the regional level are defined. The results of the study can be used for substantiating the effectiveness of digital technology in the tourist information space development of the regions for all market participants, the formation of new directions of tourist and recreational services on the basis of information centers and technology platforms.
