The role of income and expenses of a commercial organization in assessing the effectiveness of its activities

This article describes the aspects of the method of analysis of financial and economic activity in terms of the information base of such analysis and the consequences of its distortion. The existing legally approved forms of accounting (financial) statements are analyzed for the presentation of income and expenses of future periods. The author comes to the conclusion that the income and expenses of a commercial organization play a crucial role in assessing the effectiveness of the organization and the distortion of information at the stage of its presentation to users of accounting (financial) statements reduces the quality of decisions made on its basis.
