The role of the formation of acmeological competence in improving the effectiveness of the professional training of a history teacher

The article discusses the issues of professional training of a history teacher. The concept of “professional competence” of a teacher is analyzed, the role of pedagogical acmeology in the progressive development of the personality of a future teacher is determined. The levels and criteria for assessing the professionalism of the teacher are highlighted. The author’s long-term experience in the formation of educational competencies among students is summarized, the ideas about the role of acmeological competence in the professional training of a specialist are systematized.
