The role of gastronomic festivals in forming the tourist brand of the countries of North-East Asia

The national cuisine of the countries of North-East Asia has firmly established itself in recent years as a recognizable global brand. The article considers unique features of national cuisine of the countries of the region. Promotion of national cuisine in the international tourist market is facilitated by numerous gastronomic festivals held in these countries. The most vivid gastronomic festivals held in China, South Korea and Japan are considered. On the territory of Russia, in Primorsky Territory, its own gastronomic brand Pacific Russia Food was formed. Gastronomic festivals, which are held in the Primorsky Territory, are beginning to enjoy greater popularity among tourists from Northeast Asia.
