State role in the activity of the peasant credit and financial cooperation (late XIX — early XX century)

He article considers the difficult way of formation and development of loan and credit partnerships. It also touches upon the role and place of the government and local authorities at the turn of the XX century. At the same time, the author claims that the Russian government both contributed to their development, and controlled these peasant societies, taking the growth of opposition sentiment into consideration.
