The article deals with some results of the study of the role and possibilities of actualizing the general cultural component of the content of teaching mathematics at the university of students – future teachers of mathematics at the example of the course of mathematical logic. As a practical result of the research there are enumerated the main directions for the development of the exercises for the course of mathematical logic, in which the humanitarian component of this field of knowledge is implemented, the examples of exercises are given
