The article reveals the concept of the logistics chain of an enterprise, examines various classifications of logistics chains, and also finds out the place and role of storing goods in the logistics chain. The main participants of the logistics processes that organize the processes of storing goods are determined. The main functions of this process within the logistics chain are described, as well as its significance and place are determined.
