The article dwells on theoretical foundations of distance learning. The author enumerates and examines the basic models of distance learning organization in the system of economic education of schoolchildren. The article outlines the approach to the organization of high school students on-line learning, applied in ISEDT RAS Science and Education Centre of Economics and Information Technologies; the directions facilitating the integration of resident and distance learning are listed in the article.
