The role and importance of the agro-industrial complex of the Altai territory in ensuring food security in Russia

The article considers the main directions of ensuring food security in Russia, as well as the prospects for the development of exports of agricultural products, taking into account the role of the Altai Territory as a region of agricultural specialization. The article describes in detail the natural and economic features of the Altai Territory, the current state of agricultural production, opportunities for self-sufficiency in food and its supply to other regions of Russia and for export. The place of the Altai Territory in the rating of regions of Russia and the Siberian Federal District for the production of agricultural products has been determined. As a result, the prospects for increasing the importance of the Altai Territory in solving the problems of ensuring the country's food security and developing the export of agricultural products are outlined.
