Role of informational and educational activity of pharmacists in the implementation of the national project ‘Demography’ and ‘Cooperation agreement between the ministry of health of the Russian Federation and the Russian Orthodox Church’

The article shows that the implementation of the pharmacy work functions of professional standards ‘Pharmacist’ and ‘Specialist in pharmaceutical management’ can contribute to the achievement of the desired indicators of the Federal projects ‘Formation of a healthy lifestyle’ and ‘Older generation,’ as well as the implementation of the ‘Cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Russian Orthodox Church.’ The main sphere of interaction, combining all the documents mentioned above is formation of healthy lifestyle in the population, which is fulfilled through informational and educational activity of a pharmacist. Such activity of the pharmacist can also be aimed at preserving the health of mother and child, reproductive health, prevention of abortion, promotion of family values, and motivation of citizens for preventive examinations. Another important unifying area of interaction that can be implemented in pharmacy is the improvement of the quality of pharmaceutical care for people with disabilities, including those of advanced age.
