The role of information logistics in the development of world electronic trade

The main trends in the development of the world electronic commerce market are presented in the article. The relevance of this study is substantiated, a comparative analysis of the concepts of "electronic commerce" and "internet commerce" is presented with the identification of their mutual connection and influence. By analyzing the scientific and educational literature, the main advantages and disadvantages of introducing electronic commerce at the current stage of business development are identified, the reasons for the most important role of information logistics in this process and the main directions of its development in the coming periods are formulated.
