The role of information technology in the budget process

This article discusses the use of information technologies in budgetary process of the Russian Federation. What information technologies are used, why they are used and what goals it pursues. This question is relevant, as the government constantly works on improvement of budget legislation aimed at increasing control over the safe and effective use of budgetary funds.
