The role of the institute of public control of Russia in resolving socio-political conflicts

The article considers conflict as the most important aspect of human interaction in the society, in this case - a social-political one. This article is an attempt to analyze the current state, the main trends and the most probable prospects for the development of existing socio-political contradictions. The novelty and practical importance of the work consist in the systematic analysis of social and political conflicts in their interconnection and, in relation to contemporary Russian reality, as well as in the analysis of the state of the institution of public control, the possibilities and relevance of its potential for managing social and political conflicts. The author points out the creation of the necessary legal framework in Russia, and shows that the authorities are making certain attempts to institutionalize socio-political conflicts, to develop and implement new methods for managing them. At the same time, the legitimate status of public control institutions does not correspond to the established relations and expectations of society.
