The role of students’ research activities in the formation of scientific and technological thinking

The problem of the formation of a new type of thinking - scientific and technological. Ways of its solution are considered on the example of teacher training of technology in a Pedagogical university. It is shown that an integrated approach to the study of Technical, technological and natural science disciplines through research activities is becoming its essential aspect. The experience of training teachers-researchers of technological profile is presented.
