The role of historical consciousness in the education of patriotism in cadets

The article reveals the basics of self-affirmation of a teenager in a team of Suvorov junior students on the basis of the formation of historical consciousness and the upbringing of civil patriotism. Historical consciousness is the basis for patriotic education, able to maintain and strengthen the traditions of the education of patriotism. As part of the educational process, they are given the opportunity to participate in pedagogically organized activities aimed at the development of patriotic feelings, the formation of patriotic beliefs and stable standards of behavior of a citizen of Russia. Patriotism is the main life position of a citizen of a country. Raising a sense of patriotism is not one day. It can and should be brought up every day. Only in this way can we educate a citizen - a patriot of our homeland.
