The role of the translator’s linguistic personality as a linguocultural mediator in the translation of legal texts

The article focuses on the analysis of a professional translator’s role of a new formation. His contribution as an intermediary to the process of socio-cultural integration and cooperation between peoples of various linguistic and cultural communities is determined. The author hypothesizes that the translator’s linguistic personality manifests itself as a professional mediator who, in the process of special translation, qualitatively and harmoniously connects different legal systems and legal cultures, taking into account their national and cultural specifics.
