An ethnocultural component takes the major place in the structure of the personality and is one of the central formations of the axiological sphere. The purpose of our research was studying a role of ethnic communities (diasporas) influencing the formation of valuable orientations of the personality. During the correlation analysis we generalized the results of the empirical researches on the example of different ethnic groups (Russians and Armenians) testifying that the axiological sphere of the person is influenced by their ethnic environment.
