The role of interethnic relations in social stabilization

The article analyzes the issues of interethnic interaction in the conditions of multicultural space of Russian state and its regions. We provide evidence of the idea of speculating with ethnic identity to increase the heterogeneity of socio-political orientations and social disunity. The study focuses on the issues of interethnic interaction in connection with the growth of tension, radicalization of religious views, manipulative transfer of everyday conflicts into interethnic ones. We explain the increase in aggression in intercultural communications by transformations of the genetic substructure, disproportionate ratio of the indigenous population and migrants, criminalization of the practice of obtaining visas for labour migrants, loss of traditional imperatives and positive experience of interactions, identity crisis, moral ambivalence, commercialization of social contacts, and the social uncertainty of modern hyperreality.
