The article examines the impact of crisis factors on the state of the regional economy of Russia and on the standard of living in the regions. The concept of the standard of living is described, the indicators of the standard of living of the population are reflected, and the analysis of per capita income by year and region of the country is given. The role of corporations in improving the standard of living of the region's population in modern conditions and the need for an effective corporate governance system are substantiated.
