The role of large industrial companies in the Russian economy

The article discusses the role of the activities of large industrial companies in Russia's economic development. A detailed study of the sectoral structure of the designated sphere of material production shows that the majority of sectors has a fairly clearly defined structure in which the leading role played by one or more major companies. So the oil and gas complex is represented by PJSC "Rosneft", PJSC "LUKOIL", JSC "Gazprom Neft" and other large holding companies. After analyzing the structure of existing large industrial companies, we can say that, at the moment, their number in Russia exceeds 50. They all have an impact on the economy as a whole. In this regard, the article analyzed in detail the activities of large industrial companies in Russia.
