The role of small and medium-sized businesses in the development of rural territories (on the example of rural settlements of the Altai territory)

The article presents an analysis of the specifics of small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas of the Altai Territory, the dynamics of the main indicators of the activities of economic entities. The role of small enterprises in solving the problems of rural unemployment and providing the rural population with necessary services and goods is considered. The analysis of the draft resolution of the Government of the Altai Territory “On the approval of the state program“ Integrated development of rural territories of the Altai Territory ”is carried out. The interconnection of improving small and medium-sized businesses and sustainable development of rural territories of the Altai Territory is indicated.
