The role of small businesses in Russian agriculture and the main problems of its development

The role of small business in domestic agriculture, the main criteria for classifying agricultural business as small, as well as particular qualities of small farms from the point of view of domestic and foreign experience are considered. The specifics of state support for agriculture in Russia in general and in particular for small businesses, the availability of support measures for them are taken into account. The analysis of the main factors hindering the development of small business in the agricultural sector is carried out.
