Tourism has a special impact on many sectors of the economy, mainly on transport, communications, trade, construction, agriculture, and agricultural production. The article examines the role of marketing in the development of rural tourism, which is becoming an important alternative to mass tourism. Strategies and programs aimed at developing rural tourism in various countries are analyzed in detail, including involving local residents, raising environmental awareness, and creating favorable living conditions for the rural population. The marketing position based on supply and demand for tourism services is considered, as well as the need to adapt marketing approaches to rural tourism. Particular attention is paid to the environmental aspect of rural tourism, which contributes to the protection of natural resources and job creation in rural areas. The article also focuses on the problems of marketing in rural tourism, such as the lack of a systematic organization and the need to differentiate the tourism product. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of further investment in this sector to stimulate economic growth and reduce unemployment in the regions.
