Role of the nurse in psychosocial role of the nurse in psychosocial rehabilitation of residential psychiatric facility patients

The role of nursing staff in realization of poly-professional method and implementation of main approaches of mental patients psychosocial rehabilitation is analyzed in this work. The necessity of active involvement of nursing staff at every stage of rehabilitation is reasoned; their activity directions in psychoeducative programs organization are systematized, as well as in direction of social isolation prevention, patients stigmatization and self-stigmatization reduction, development of skills of patient-social environment relationship, observation of ethic and deontological principles in psychiatric care delivery
