The role of international legal acts in the process of creation of a model of Russian juvenile justice system

The article presents a legal analysis of international law relating to criminal proceedings against minors from the point of view of their implementation in the domestic legislation of the Russian Federation. The study revealed a trend in the development and integration of criminal procedure legislation in the field of juvenile justice in the international legal field. The legal course of the modern Russian state should be focused, first of all, on refusing punitive and opting for a restorative and educational model of juvenile justice aimed at facilitating the reintegration of a juvenile offender and fulfilling his useful role in society. Based on the use of the research method, it was found that creation of the national system of juvenile justice in the Russian Federation, it is necessary to take into account, first of all, the norms of international law.
