The role of international justice in conciliation processes

The appeal to the topic of reconciliation in criminal proceedings is conditioned by a number of theoretical issues and practical circumstances. The judicial and investigative practice of terminating criminal cases in connection with reconciliation of the parties indicates the existence of a number of contradictions caused by different approaches to understanding the essence of the institution of reconciliation. The article examines the experience of using the foundations of reconciliation in international criminal law and its consequences.
