The article discusses issues related to the prevention and counteraction to the spread of the ideology of extremism and terrorism among young people, as the most vulnerable and exposed to external destructive influence of the population category. The question is raised about the need for inter-agency cooperation (specialists of law enforcement agencies, executive authorities, the scientific community, representatives of civil society), aimed not only at prevention, but also at creating a stable civic, legal and social position and responsibility among young people in the interests of ensuring state welfare. On the example of anti-terrorism forum of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region, Ugra, possible areas of activity within the framework of interagency cooperation are considered. It is concluded that interagency cooperation is the basis for developing effective ways to prevent the spread of the ideology of extremism and terrorism among young people.
