The role of migration in the formation and development of labour markets

The author presents a theoretical concept of the role of migration in the development of the world and national (Russian) labor market. The factors of migration and the main directions of external and internal migration flows in Russia, including in the far East in the zone of integration relations between the Russian Federation and the people's Republic of China are analyzed. The article considers the impact of migration on the population of Russia and the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as the impact of migration on the social composition and fertility of the population. Migration policy is one of the most painful topics for our state authorities. Whether there is a policy or not, it can be judged by whether the strategic direction of its development is formulated and institutionalized.
