The article discusses the topic of the influence of youth public associations in educational organizations on the formation of future leaders and managers. Student leadership performs the functions of uniting students, protecting their interests, supports student initiatives and organizes students, coordinates their interests, forming common goals and values, defends rights, maintains contact with the leadership of the educational institution. Students who actively combine their studies with membership in public associations have great chances in their professional activities to become a leader and a leader who positively affects the quality of work of the entire workforce. The development of leadership skills is the main task for students of the direction “Management”, as a modern employer is extremely interested in managers who have the skills to take extraordinary approaches to managerial decision-making. The participation of students in youth public associations in educational organizations is the start on the way to building a successful career for graduates of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, as well as the main condition for acquiring the skills and competencies of modern leaders and managers. The university environment and the staff of the public association have a positive impact on students, which allows them to concentrate on improving leadership and managerial qualities and develop their own individual management style and interaction with the future workforce by the end of the graduate’s training.
