Role of petrochemistry in economic modernization on the example of Nizhnekamskneftekhim

The role of the chemical and petrochemical industry in the world economy and the Russian economy is considered. On the example of Nizhnekamskneftekhim, it is shown which measures are aimed at organizing the production of marketable products going for export, and which measures are aimed at reducing the amount of imported raw materials and technologies imported from abroad and replacing them with their own developments. It shows the interaction of small and medium-sized enterprises of polymer processing with industrial giants within the Nizhnekamsk industrial district.
