The role of tacit knowledge in the cognitive process

This article is devoted a problem of definition of concept of implicit knowledge. In article works of the most visible authors in the field of the knowledge theory are analysed. The author has paid attention to interrelation of scientific knowledge with its philosophical preconditions and figurative thinking of the scientist.
