The role of education in the success of the self-employed (on the example of the Republic of Buryatia)

The article deals with the importance of education in the development of self-employment of the population on the example of the Republic of Buryatia. The authors analyze the peculiarities of the labor market and economic activity in the region, emphasizing the importance of education as a key factor influencing the choice and success of self-employment. The study is based on statistical data and the results of sociological survey with representatives of the self-employed population. Special attention is paid to the level of professional training, availability of entrepreneurial skills and their influence on the sustainability and prospects of self-employment. The authors identify the underlying problems and barriers related to education and conclude that education plays an important role in the development of self-employment, and thus, improving the economic environment and increasing the level of employment in the Republic of Buryatia.
