The author analyzes the work of the prosecutor’s office to supervise the observance of laws when resettling citizens from emer gency housing. He notes that prosecutors are systematically monitoring the situation, exchanging information with law enforcement and supervisory bodies, materials on violations of the rights of citizens in resettlement from emergency housing are organized to verify the performance of authorities in their duties in the field of compliance with housing rights of the population. Identifies the shortcomings of legal regulation in this area and proposes to make adjustments to existing legislation.
