The article reveals the role of Russian musical and educational traditions in the cultural life of the countries of Asia and Africa during the first wave of Russian emigration. The author performs the statistics of emigrants for professional occupation (number of people employed in the musical profession) and actualize the names and surnames of music teachers - the establishers of musical and educational institutions in the cities of China (Harbin, Xinjiang, Shanghai), Egypt (Tel-el-Kebir), South Africa (Durban) (A.
