The role of patriotic education in the formation of leadership in Russian youth

Resume: The article reveals the relationship between patriotism and the formation of personality leadership qualities. Analyzed the essence of the concept of patriotism, leader, leadership qualities, leadership competence. The general and specific qualities inherent in the personality of a leader are considered. It is concluded that a patriotic leader must master the key competencies that are necessary for personal realization and development, active civic life, social cohesion, and also possess a certain set of intellectual, communicative, and organizational qualities.
