Role of law principles in law exposure

Introduction: the article investigates legal principles as bearing structure of the legal matter that denote the connection between law and legal system and strengthen prevailing social and legal values and ensure interaction of the subjects. Materials and Methods: the main sources of the article are Russian legal and judicial practice. The article is written on the basis of postclassical methodology (phenomenological and synergetic approaches), general scientific methodology (general logical, system and structural, historical approaches), special scientific methodology (legal and comparative legal approaches). Results: according to the authors' point of view legal principles within ontology are considered as fundamental form of the law that reflects cognitive aspect of legal reality, in gnoseological value - as fundamental category defining specifics of legal reality interpretations, in axiological aspect - embody the system of legal and social values. Discussion and Conclusions: law principles are combined, objective and subjective, reflect both objective evolution of the relationship and the results of social construction of legal reality. They are the leading determinative factor in legal influence.
