The article describes the method and algorithm for estimating the proportion of entrepreneurial structures (small and medium enterprises, individual entrepreneurs) in the volume of production by a region of the country and types of economic activity. It shows the developed economic-mathematical models and identifies regularities and tendencies, characterizing the creation and the formation of entrepreneurial structures.
