The role of classification in the process of perception of ambiguous stimuli

The research is directed at the problem solving of various cognitive tasks in situations of ambiguous information. A classification plays an important role in the efficiency of problem solving process. In perceptual task and in the situation of measuring sensory thresholds, the efficiency depends mostly on interpretation of the information and stimuli classification which the observer makes at each particular time point.
