The role of professional teachers’ activity of a coach-instructor in students’ development of motivation to sports

The article presents the results of a study of students ' interest in improving their sports training both at training sessions at educational institutions and additional classes at schools of different kinds of sports. The number of students constantly attending training sessions and the number of students engaged in additional specialized sections is studied. It is shown that the training work, as well as the work to attract students to the chosen sport on a regular basis in specialized sections was conducted throughout the school year. Studies have shown that the attendance of training sessions of students of the institution remained at the same level, which indicates the quality of training work of trainers, teachers, and increased the number of students attending specialized sections.
