The article explores the role of professionally important qualities (PIQ) and psychological competencies of public administration professionals in the context of managing the investment attractiveness of Russian regions. The research focuses on the Krasnodar Krai as one of the leading territorial entities in terms of investment inflows and institutional competitiveness. Through an empirical study conducted in 2024, the author identifies the most relevant psychological and managerial traits that ensure the effectiveness of specialists involved in investment decision-making. The paper presents original data, graphical analysis, and practical recommendations for enhancing the human capital of regional investment systems.
