This article examines the tools used to optimize the financial strategy of large Chinese corporations, using PetroChina as an example. The author analyzes the unique mechanisms of capital management, investment policy, and risk management characteristic of the Chinese model of corporate governance, which combines market approaches with state regulation. Particular attention is paid to the adaptation of financial instruments to the specifics of the oil and gas sector, including the use of digital technologies and international financial practices. The study demonstrates how PetroChina achieves financial stability through diversification of funding sources, strategic investments, and integration with national development programs. The results of the study are of practical value to corporations in other countries, especially in the context of global economic instability.
