The role of publicity in modern neorealism (on the example of Shargunov's works)

The article is devoted to the characteristics of modern tendencies in realism. The author proves the fact that the popularity of the method is accounted for by the strengthening of its publicity component. The interaction of journalistic and literary methods of depicting reality, as well as the combination of fiction with the non-fictional, lead to the possibility of realization of the typical, as well as to arousing compassion in the reader.
