The article highlights the issues of upbringing of patriotism of a professionally oriented directionality among students of educational organizations. The work of scientists devoted to patriotic education and reflexive activity is indicated, effective methods and techniques of reflexive activity are highlighted as conditions for the formation of a civil-patriotic position of students. Particular importance is attached to personality-oriented education and an activity-based approach in the process of fostering professional pride and fulfilling professional duty. The social and environmental, psychological and pedagogical conditions that contribute to the education of a reflective specialist with a civil-patriotic position are distinguished.
