The Role of Regional Universities in the Education System (using the example of the Batken State University of the Kyrgyz Republic)

The article explores the importance of regional universities in the education system, focusing on Batken State University of the Kyrgyz Republic. Their functions in the training of qualified personnel, their impact on the socio-economic development of the region and the expediency of introducing innovative educational practices are analyzed. The existing problems faced by regional universities are discussed, such as lack of funding, competition with central educational institutions and the need to meet modern labor market requirements. The purpose of this study is to study the role of Batken State University in the educational system of Kyrgyzstan and identify its contribution to the development of the region, as well as to formulate recommendations for improving the effectiveness of such educational institutions. The article uses the method of quantitative analysis. The quantitative analysis is based on statistical data on the employment of graduates. This method helps to better understand both the internal processes at the university and its interaction with the external environment. Recommendations: To increase the efficiency of Batken State University and improve its role in the educational system, it is recommended to develop cooperation with local enterprises and organizations, introduce dual education, and establish mutual financing mechanisms with the support of the state and the private sector. Special attention should be paid to the formation of innovative educational programs that would meet the requirements of the modern labor market and the needs of the local community.
