Russia's role in developing the resource potential of the BRICS countries

The paper examines the features and problems of the growth of Russia's resource contribution to the development of BRICS at the present stage. New scientific approaches to the issues of long-term forecasting and strategic planning of interstate interaction, taking into account the resource component, are proposed. The purpose of the study is to determine the general outline of opportunities for its growth on the basis of identifying the specifics of Russia's participation in the formation of the resource potential of the BRICS. Along with the generally recognized methodological approaches to the study of complex processes, this study attempts to consider the resource aspects of increasing the competitive advantages of the BRICS in the modern world economy from the standpoint of geogenesis, a three-dimensional method of studying the modern world. As a result of the study, the principles of the functioning of the resource management system are determined, the role of Russia in the formation of the resource vector of the BRICS development is shown, the current areas of resource provision for interstate relations are identified, and the need for a multi-vector orientation of the Russian resource export demand is proved. A number of proposals have been put forward that deepen the scientific concept of the organic inclusion of resource flows into the constantly evolving innovation and reproduction system of world development.
